Friday’s Ruby Zinger Smoothie

This smoothie is the perfect healthy start to the weekend ahead. Beetroot and ruby chard provide antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and detoxification support.

Ingredients

1 banana

Ruby Chard - 1 handful
1 apple - diced
1 beetroot (small) - we used 2 baby beets from the garden
Half a lime (without rind)
Splash of apple juice
1 small nugget of fresh garlic (without rind) 

Instructions

Blend all the ingredients in a blender (Vitamix if you have one).
